报告题目：On the Stability of Retained Austenite in Transformation-Induced Plasticity
报告人简介：
After conferring the PhD in 1987, Elena Pereloma worked as researcher and academic in Ukraine, Canada and Australia. Professor Elena Pereloma was Senior Professor of Physical Metallurgy in the School of Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronic and Biomedical Engineering, and the Director of the Electron Microscopy Centre at the University of Wollongong (UOW) during 2012-2024 period. Currently, she is an Honorary Professorial Fellow at UOW. Her major research interests are in processing-microstructure-property relationships, alloy design, thermo-mechanical processing, phase transformations, mechanical behavior and advanced characterization techniques. Prof. Pereloma published more than 270 refereed papers and book chapters with >9000 citations and h-index of 52. She was the recipient of more than 27 competitive grants to the total value exceeding AUD 40M. Prof. Pereloma served for more than 6 years on the Australian Research Council College of Experts, delivered numerous plenary, keynote and invited talks at International conferences and was recipient of several international awards including HonDSc from the Institute for Metal Physics, Ukraine and V.G. Kurdjumov Medal.
